Yes, That Is A Selfie Stick In My Pocket

by - November 05, 2017

I never got into the selfie craze long ago. I probably didn't even have a smartphone back then. I've never really been one to go with what everyone else is doing. As much as I love technology, I also don't feel I have to be the first to have it, I prefer to wait till all the bugs have been worked out.

When I saw this pocket sized selfie stick from Fugetek with a bluetooth removable remote I knew I had to try it. I've never actually seen or tried a selfie stick, but I knew that this would help with my product review pictures and videos. This is definitely pocket sized, maybe not a female pocket but it would fit in a man's pocket, it's barely bigger than my LG stylo 3 plus.

This selfie stick is only compatible with android and IOS phones. It doesn't work with GoPro or Cameras. I was surprised my LG stylo 3 fit in the mount with the case on, It's a pretty wide phone. The mount fits any phone up to 3.2" and the selfie stick itself extends 32 inches. I really like it's locking tiered design which makes it easy to choose different lengths at which to take your pictures. It's very sturdy and lightweight since it is made of aluminum.  The removable bluetooth remote has a zoom in and out button on it but these buttons are not compatible with all phones, mine being one of them. This isn't a big deal to me though, as long as the snap button works. The remote boasts a 300 hour standby and a 1 hour hold for continuous use.

This selfie stick from Fugetek is definitely a great buy. It's small and compact and well made. I look forward to taking this selfie stick with me whenever I take my kids out, and at $15 it won't burn a hole in the pocket you plan on carrying it in.
