Waterproof Car Roof Bag Review

When I was a kid I loved camping with my family, it was just some of the most memorable times I spent with family. I've always wanted my own kids to experience this. My family has only been camping once, back when we were only a family of 6. Within the first 5 minutes of arriving at said camp site one of my children split their chin open. We didn't let that stop us from having  a good camping experience. I would like to say it was memorable but it probably wasn't as great as I would have liked it to be. Now as a family of 8, as much as we would like to camp its really not a possibility
. There really isn't enough room in our Pilot. It only sits 8 and the trunk is pretty tiny. We can't even fit an ice chest back there, unless it's one of those small ones that fit a six pack.


When I saw this waterproof roof bag by Leader Accessories I knew I had to give it a try. I was hoping it would finally allow us to be able to go camping next summer. This bag is easy to set up on the roof of your car and is very sturdy. We couldn't fill it completely but we shoved 4 Quilts, a big box, to 22x22 floor pillows, 2 camping chairs, a sleeping bag, and there was still a ton of room. I know that this year we will have no problem with space. This bag is definitely water proof. It shows in the inside and on the zipper. 



This bag is very sturdy. I have no worries with this. I am just so excited to have the chance to try it out. This bag is just so amazing. It's so spacious I am almost positive I could fit all 6 of my kids inside. Two of them jumped in because they can't resist themselves. 



Can you see how much room is still left. This is a big bag. It also comes with a non slip mat so that it can protect the top of your car. It folds up small and comes with a small carry bag to fit it into. When folding it up just remember to leave the zippers open a little so that the air can escape. IF you don't there will be no folding unless you've sprung a leak, which I don't see happening. This folds up small as well for when you don't need it.



If you are looking for a way to add to your trunk storage this is a very reliable and amazing solution. Its very affordable and very well made and sturdy. I'm so thankful for finding this, I can't wait till we post this summer's camping pictures.
