April 2018 Pet Treater Box

by - April 28, 2018

This is my 3rd Pet Treater Box, I like it but I'm not sure my cats like everything in it enough to keep this subscription. My cat's always love the treats and we love the stickers but I'm not sure if that's enough reason to keep this subscription going. I will say everything in this months box was a hit except for one of the toys. My cats don't seem to be really into toys. Trixie loves hair ties and straws and Catboy loves dangle toys and Trixie but it's rare for them to really play with any of their toys.

First thing I always check first is the treat they send out, the treats are my cat's favorite part. They are not always in the mood for treats when we first open the bag but they have enjoyed every one of them so far. I like that this month they didn't send a freeze dried treat like they usually do and instead sent this grain free Turkey and cheddar treat. My cat's love cheese and they really loved this treat.

The second thing I always look at is the sticker because this is mine and my girls favorite item. This one went to my youngest and now lives on her kindle. She thought the cat with coconut bra was hilarious but she didn't quiet get it.

Every Pet Treaters comes with two toys. As I said my cat's aren't really into toys and haven't found one that they like. Catboy loves these kinds of toys though so he enjoyed this one. He absolutely loves being teased, I can stick one of these in the couch cushions and hang it down the back and he will have fun for a good while.

I really love how springy this toy is. The rod has a good amount of give and the fish is attach with corded elastic so this toy is super fun for both parties.

When I saw these hoops with the papery tassels I thought our Trixie girl would really like it. She loves hair ties and she loves light papery things, so why wouldn't she love it? Nope she didn't care for it though. Neither of the cats did more than give them a quick sniff. I'm sure if I put these on the night stand with some hair ties she would take them, but as for now they sit in the cat toy box untouched.

I tried rolling these across the floor in the kitchen thinking she might chase them, like she does when the kids are playing but of course that didn't catch her attention either.

Every box also seems to have a catnip item in it and this month we received Catnip Mist. I sprayed all toys with this before trying to get the cats to play. Trixie wasn't very interested in it, She LOVES eating catnip the smell of it does nothing for her. Catboy loves it though and will lay next to and sniff whatever  I spray this on.

This was everything I received in this months Pet Treater box, I don't check prices but I'm very happy with everything I got for the low price of $12.99. What do you think of this months Pet Treater box? How do you get your cat's to enjoy playing with toys? Do you recommend any other Cat Subscription Boxes?  Let me know in the comments.
