A few years ago my husband and I made a desk for the kids to do their homework at and to play on my laptop. It ended up being a computer desk and junk mail desk since it wasn't great for writing on. Recently I came across this matte black PU Leather Desk pad. Below you can see how it came rolled up it promised to be roll flat and it definetly was. I love how flexible it is and that I could bend it any way and it will go back to flat. 

I absolutely love this pad. It's the perfect size for my laptop and a notebook and a cup of tea. It's high quality and writing on it is smooth. It's anti-scratch so I don't have to worry about the kids leaving marks behind when they write. It's also anti-skid so no worry about it sliding when you are trying to erase something .
