Getting my youngest two to pick up after themselves is pretty impossible. I don't know what happened with these two but I guess i'm just too tired to fight with them. I use to be all about schedules and teaching the kids to clean up after themselves. When my last little came though all that went out the window. Sticking to a schedule that worked around the other 5 kids just wasn't happening and so chaos has since ensued.  

With this basketball hoop over the door laundry hamper by Taylor Toys at least picking up their dirty laundry can be a fun time. My littlest guy still can't quite make it but he sure has fun trying. With a little boost from biggest brother he shouldn't have any problem getting his clothes in there though. They love trying to make a basket, so dirty clothes finally get put away now. One battle finally one for mom. 

This basket hamper is really well made. When opening the package it smelled of fresh paint pretty strongly so it may need a little airing out when first taken out of the package. I love that the rim is made of metal and the back board is made of some kind of wood and not particle board. The netting looks very sturdy and not the thin cheap netting you see in a lot of hampers like this. The netting extends 3 feet down so should hold a good amount of clothes. There is a plastic release valve at the bottom that you just squeeze and pull down to dump your clothes into a basket or to start sorting on the floor. This hamper would make a great gift for any boy or girl who loves basketball or sports.
