I heard about the Ibotta App and Checkout 51 when i came across the Krazy Coupon Lady using it at Whole Foods. I was all about Whole Foods at the time, even though it was a 45 min drive out of town from where i live. In town i didn't really have very many organic options except for a very small vegetable section at my local Vons. I'm all for saving money whenever possible, and at Whole Foods it is a little difficult. I rarely found coupons i could use, even from the ones they put out.
So I decided to give them a try, what did i have to lose but a couple minutes of time and some space on my phone. I gave up on Checkout 51 pretty fast, to me it just didn't have a very user friendly interface. I don't know if they've changed it, i haven't looked at it since January 2016. I liked Ibotta it was really easy to use and i like how you can click on a store and see all the rebates available at that store.
To select a rebate is very simple you just click the + under the image and it will take you to either a 15 second video or a multiple answer question. Easy peasy. When you go to your store and grab the item you have a rebate for, you have an option to check product barcode to make sure it qualifies for that rebate. I always use this, i've made a few mistakes and bought an excluded item before so I prefer to be safe than sorry. Redeeming your rebates couldn't be easier just select redeem and snap a picture of you WHOLE receipt. If you shop at walmart its even easier. Just scan the QR code at the bottom of your receipt and your done!
Ibotta has branched out and also works with online companies and even uber! So you have even more ways to earn cash back. Also The Krazy Coupon Lady list sales that go with products that have rebates on ibotta for even more savings! Really this is a great app, I've had months where i've made $26 dollars just off this one app, and withdrawing your cash couldn't be easier. I have mine go straight into my paypal account and it's there instantly and ready to use.
