I bought my first laptop in 2009 I loved it so much, watching movies and uploading all my cds on to it. I couldn't imagine not having my cd drive. Until I got my first Chromebook back in 2013. I was surprised to see that laptops didn't come with Optical drives anymore. I get that it makes your laptop so much lighter, but I have always hated going back and forth between laptop and desktop when I wanted to us the Cd drive.
Now thanks to Novapolt I have a portable disk drive that easily connects to my laptop via USB. Since I have a Chromebook I can't watch movies but I can download all my cds with pictures and music to my laptop now. The great thing is this disk drive only puts you back $25 which isn't a bad price at all.

So if your looking for an affordable and lightweight CD drive for your laptop this is a great option. Its easy to use, besides having a shorter USB cord than I would like I am very happy with this.
